Properties Description
Current max. size The current maximum file system size.
Usage The actual amount of space (in MB) used
from the file system percentage.
To create additional file systems, click Create file system and follow the steps in
“Creating a file system” on page 75.
To change the properties of a file system, click Modify properties and follow the
steps in “Modifying properties of a file system” on page 75.
To remove a file system, click Delete and follow the steps in “Deleting a file
system” on page 76.
Viewing the space utilization of a file system through a CIFS
user
This task explains how to view the space utilization of a file system through a
CIFS user.
Procedure
1. Use My Computer to map a share(s) that exists within the file system you
want to view.
2. Select Tools > Map Network Drive. The Map Network Drive window is
displayed.
3. Assign the drive letter and path of the share you want to map.
4. Click Finish. The mapped share is displayed under Network Location in My
Computer
.
5. The free space of the file system to which the share belongs is displayed under
the mapped share. Alternatively, you can right-click on the mapped share and
select Properties. The Used space, Free space and Capacity of the file system is
displayed.
6. Click OK to close the Properties window.

Repeat this task for each file system on which you want to view space utilization.
Monitoring FSI replication policies
This topic describes how to monitor replication policies of an FSI system using
ProtecTIER Manager.
From the Systems Management view, click on Replication Policies on the
navigation pane to see the replication policies defined on the repository. The
following information is displayed for each defined policy:
Policy name
The name that you defined for the policy.
Mode All data is either copied or moved.
