Retrieving from a Sun System
The Sun System provides information when an error occurs on a tape drive or library
in
system-errolog /var/adm/messages
. When you have located the error information,
go to Chapter 1, “Start Service,” on page 1-1.
Retrieving from an HP-UX System
The HP-UX system provides information when an error occurs on a tape drive or
library in syslog
/var/adm/syslog.log . When you have located the error information,
go to Chapter 1, “Start Service,” on page 1-1.
