The Quick Start Guide also describes how to obtain the JAVA plug-in and
configure your browser to support the HTML interface.

ATTENTION!

There is an SNMP vulnerability for various versions of switch firmware. Refer to
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/cisco-malformed-snmp-msgs-pub.shtml for specific firmware patches to
download.

Setup troubleshooting

Once the initial setup is complete, there should be a network connection between
the PC and the switch. If a ping to the switch fails, verify the IP address and
gateway to ensure the subnet and gateway addresses match:

On the PC, use the command: ipconfig

v

On the switch, use the command: show running
