Loosen the thumbscrew on the fan module cam handle.

Press the release tab on the side of the target fan module, and then pull the
cam handle toward you to remove the fan module from the chassis.

Attention:

Always support the bottom of the module with your free hand so

that it does not suddenly drop free from the chassis and injure you.

Set the fan module aside.

Installing a fan module

To replace the fan module, you must perform the following steps in order.

Procedure

1.

If you are not already grounded, properly ground yourself.

2.

Remove the bezel, if necessary.

3.

Insert the replacement fan module into the chassis by aligning it with the
opening and sliding it into the chassis.
