3. In the last dialog, click “Finish”. This completes the
MSN configuration.
Since the Windows operating systems are a US software
product, the ISDN Configuration Wizard is also tailored to
the US market. When entering an MSN in the Wizard, you
can ignore the SPID fields, which are only used in North
America. If you encounter any problems with your applica-
tion software after entering an MSN, remove the MSN set-
tings in the same way as described above, then enter MSN
settings in any application software that requires them!
10.2.2 Windows NT 4.0 Workstation
Throughout this chapter it is assumed that you are logged
on to a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation system as Administra-
tor. If you are not logged on as Administrator, you may not
be able to perform all the steps outlined in this chapter.
The following section describes how to add or change the
configuration of Multiple Subscriber Numbers in the NDIS
WAN CAPI driver. Althoug h MSNs can be config ured in the
driver, it is strongly recommended that you enter MSN set-
tings only in applications that require them. You must have
the NDIS CAPI WAN drivers installed in order to perform the
following steps. Note that MSNs are a feature of the Euro-
ISDN (DSS1) switch protocol only!
