failures
The
following
command
gives
you
a
good
overview
of
the
current
status
of
the
HACMP
clusters.
This
is
run
from
the
command
line
in
AIX:
/usr/es/sbin/cluster/clstat
Alternately,
you
can
use
the
smitty
menus
to
accomplish
the
above.
Error
indication
and
LED
indicators
The
DR550
SSAM
Server
is
designed
for
client
setup
of
the
machine
and
for
the
subsequent
addition
of
most
hardware
features.
The
DR550
SSAM
Server
also
allows
clients
to
replace
service
parts
(Client
Replaceable
Unit).
To
accomplish
this,
the
DR550
SSAM
Server
provides
internal
LED
diagnostics
that
identify
the
parts
that
require
service.
Attenuation
of
the
error
is
provided
through
a
series
of
light
attention
signals,
starting
on
the
exterior
of
the
system
(System
Attention
LED)
which
is
located
on
the
front
of
the
system
and
ending
with
an
LED
near
the
failing
Field
Replaceable
Unit.

System
attention
LED
The
attention
indicator
is
represented
externally
by
an
amber
LED
on
the
operator
panel
and
on
the
back
of
the
system
unit.
The
amber
LED
indicates
that
the
system
is
in
one
of
the
following
states:
v
Normal
state,
LED
is
off.
v
Fault
state,
LED
is
on
solid.
v
Identify
state,
LED
is
blinking.
Additional
LEDs
on
I/O
components
such
as
PCI-X
slots
and
disk
drives
provide
status
information
such
as
power,
hot-swap,
and
need
for
service.

maintenance
Concurrent
maintenance
provides
replacement
of
the
following
parts
while
the
system
remains
running:

Cooling
fans

Power
subsystems
