error
occurred
during
POST
memory
tests
and
a
DIMM
was
disabled.
Important:
In
some
memory
configurations,
the
3-3-3
beep
code
might
sound
during
POST,
followed
by
a
blank
monitor
screen.
If
this
occurs
and
the
Boot
Fail
Count
option
in
the
Start
Options
of
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program
is
set
to
enabled
(its
default
setting),
you
must
restart
the
computer
three
times
to
force
the
system
BIOS
to
reset
the
CMOS
values
to
the
default
configuration
(the
memory
connector
or
bank
of
connectors
enabled).
1.
If
you
just
installed
memory,
make
sure
that
the
new
memory
is
correct
for
your
computer.
2.
If
the
DIMM
was
disabled
by
the
user,
run
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program,
select
Memory
Settings
from
the
Advanced
Setup
menu
option
and
enable
the
DIMM.
3.
Make
sure
that
the
memory
is
installed
and
seated
correctly.
4.
Reseat
the
DIMM.
5.
Replace
the
DIMM.
