5.1.4

Connection of Power Supply (and USB optionally)

To finish the setup, the power supply must be connected. Optionally, the USB cable can be used to
connect the Gas Mixer to an external computer. This enables the use of the IncuControl software de-
livered with the system (Section

6

) for data logging and control of the parameters of the experiment.

1. Plug the power supply into the connector on the Gas Mixer labeled ”Power”.

2. Connect the other end to the wall socket.

3. Optional: Connect the computer to the Gas Mixer with the supplied USB cable.

5.2

(Re)-Filling the Humidifying Column

Before the first use, the Humidifying Column must be filled with 130 ml of ultra-pure water. During
operation, the column should always be refilled before the water level falls below the minimum
mark.
