Keep the planer clean

Keep the ventilation slots clean 

and free 

from obstructions. If possible, blow compressed air into the vents 
to clear any internal dust 

(safety goggles must be worn when under-

taking this process). 

Accumulation of dust in the motor or on the 

base may cause a malfunction of the tool.

 

 

 

Never use chemical cleaners to clean your tool.

  

Wipe it clean with a dry cloth.  

 

We recommend using the original package for covering the 
product or suitable means to protect it against dust.  

 
 

 

Before and after each use, check the product and accessories (or 
attachments) for wear and damage. 

 

Inspecting planer blade; 

Check the cutting blade carefully for 

cracks or dull/damage before and after each use. Continuing to 
use a dull blade may cause a dangerous kickback and/or motor 
overload. Dressing could be suitable or replace with a new blade
