Fiber Optic Inputs (X8 and X11) and Outputs (X9 and X12)

The 2 connectors (ST type) for each module serve to connect the device to the fiber
optic bus.

Device Mode Setting with Switches S1 and S2

Each half of the device has its own mode switch: Set switch to mode 0 for “M mode”
operation or mode 1 to 8 for “F mode” operation.
