Congratulations on your iGo
®
power purchase!
Universally compatible with today’s popular brands, iGo
auto/air85 allows you to power/charge a notebook computer
from any standard DC power source. With the included iGo
dualpower
®
accessory, you can simultaneously power/charge a
notebook computer and a second mobile electronic device
such as a mobile phone, smartphone/PDA, MP3 player, digital
camera and more (additional iGo power tips sold separately).
Also, use the iGo dualpower accessory and included auto
charging plug as a stand-alone car charger for your gadgets.
No other adapters are as powerful or as versatile as the iGo
line of power products.
How to Use This iGo Auto/Air Power
Adapter
Auto, Boat or RV:
Plug the auto/air outlet cord into any
standard in-vehicle outlet.Your vehicle may need to be running
in order to get power. The illuminated LED indicates the
adapter is ready to use. If the LED does not illuminate, check
the connections and you may need to check the in-vehicle
power outlet fuse. Please refer to your vehicle manual for
instructions on how to check the fuse box and replace power
outlet fuse if needed. Note: In some vehicles, power to the
outlet is always on.These vehicles may not require the ignition
to be turned on. CAUTION: It is not recommended to have
this iGo adapter connected to your electronic device when
starting the engine. The power may be interrupted causing your
system to reset.
Air:
You will need to find the in-flight power outlet in the
airplane. The power outlet is usually located in the arm of your
seat, typically near the same location used to plug in
headphones. It may also be located under the seat. Please ask a
flight attendant for the exact location of the outlet. Once
located, plug the in-flight connector into the airline power
outlet. Some airline outlets may have vehicle type outlets
where the in-flight connector is not necessary.
Note:
We recommend that you only use iGo auto/air85 with
device batteries that meet or exceed the original manufacturer
specifications. CAUTION: Like the power adapter that came
with your electronic device, this iGo adapter may get warm to
the touch during use. This is normal.Avoid placing your iGo
adapter in direct sunlight or next to heat sensitive materials.
