Hydrogen fuel gauge
This gauge indicates the approxi-
mate amount of fuel remaining in the
fuel tank (The fuel tank capacity is
given in chapter 8). The fuel gauge is
supplemented by a low fuel warning
light which will illuminate when the
fuel tank is nearly empty.

- Hydrogen Fueling
Station
The refueling equipment and hydro-
gen filling process will vary depend-
ing on the refueling station and the
outside ambient temperature. In
some instances, you may not be able
to fill the tank completely.

Fuel Cell Stack Overheats
If the gauge pointer moves
beyond the normal range area
toward the "
" position, it
indicates overheating that may
damage the fuel cell stack.
CAUTION
Radiator Cap
Never remove the radiator cap
when the fuel cell power mod-
ule is hot. Otherwise the fuel
cell stack coolant may be under
pressure and cause severe
burns. If the fuel cell stack
coolant is low, have the vehicle
inspected by an authorized
HYUNDAI Tucson Fuel Cell deal-
er.
WARNING
Running Out of Fuel
Running out of fuel can expose
vehicle occupants to danger.
You must stop and obtain addi-
tional fuel as soon as possible
after the warning light comes
on or when the gauge indicator
comes close to the E (Empty)
level.
