Remark

The voltmeter fluctuates largely even

with the engine running at a constant

speed.

The lamp does not glow brightly even

when engine runs at high speed.

The lamp flickers while the engine is run-

ning.

• Check for loose terminals and open-cir-

cuit wiring.

 

• Adjust belt tension.

The voltmeter does not fluctuate even

with an increase in the engine speed.

• Check the alternator.

The starting motor does not turn on

when starting the switch is turned on.
