1.3 MAINTENANCE SAFETY
WARNING!
ALWAYS release pressure, shut power OFF, and disconnect hose before
performing maintenance or repairs.
NEVER modify or repair the air tank. Never drill, weld, or make any
modifications of any kind to the air tank or its attachments.
NEVER modify the power switch, safety release valve, or any other
component that controls air tank pressure. The air tank is designed to
withstand specific operating pressures. NEVER adjust or substitute parts
to alter the factory set operating pressures.
NEVER remove or modify safety guards or covers. NEVER operate the air
compressor if guards or covers are damaged or removed.
The air compressor should only be serviced by an authorized service
center unless you have the proper tools and are mechanically proficient.
Allow the air compressor to cool down for one hour after use before
performing any maintenance.
If the air tank develops a leak, shut power OFF and replace immediately
with a new tank.
