at a pressure that exceeds its rating may damage the tool and causes
a risk of bursting. Before using any air tool, check the manufacturer’s
recommended air pressure and set the outlet pressure accordingly.
This air compressor has a duty rating of 50%. Do not allow the air
compressor to run continuously for more than 30 minutes, doing so will
decrease the service life of the compressor.
Air compressors vibrate in normal use. During and after each use, inspect
the equipment as well as the power cord for damage resulting from
vibration. Have damaged items repaired or replaced as necessary. Do not
use plugs or cords that show signs of damage.
Make sure that the air compressor is in a stable and secure position
before operating.
Shut OFF air compressor immediately if the device begins to operate
abnormally. Then disconnect power and air hose and investigate the
problem.
Secure loose clothing, hair, and jewellery that may be caught in the
moving parts of the air compressor.
1.2 AC SAFETY
WARNING!
NEVER modify the provided plug.
All electrical work must be performed by a qualified electrician.
Plug the air compressor power cord directly into a grounded wall socket.
Do not use an extension cord unless necessary. Use a longer air hose
instead.
If you must use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord with
a grounding wire. Cords must have a gauge of 12AWG or thicker and
should not exceed 25-feet.
Make sure air compressor is properly grounded. Failure to ground the unit
may increase the risk of electrical shock.
Check with a qualified electrician if in doubt as to whether the product is
properly grounded.
If air compressor is stored outdoors, check all the electrical components
on the control panel before each use. Moisture can damage the
compressor and can lead to an electric shock.
