• Switching off: turn the knob (left) to setting O.
REGULATING THE THERMOSTAT
When the room has reached the required temperature turn the thermostat knob. In an
anticlockwise direction up to the point where the appliance switches off and not beyond. The
temperature fixed in this way will be automatically regulated and kept at a constant level by the
thermostat.
Security system
The heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the heater in case of accidental
overheating (eg. Obstruction of air intake and outlet grilles, motor turning slowly or not at all).
To reset, disconnect the plug from the power for a few minutes, remove the cause of
overheating then plug the appliance in again. After a short cooling down phase, the appliance is
ready for use again. If you still notice the same defect above mentioned, remove the plug from
the socket and have the appliance serviced by authorized service personnel only.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• The appliance only needs regular cleaning on the outside.
• Before you clean the appliance, switch the heater off, remove the plug from socket and wait
until the heater cooled down.
• Use a damp cloth to wipe off the fan heater housing.
• Do not use water, detergents, abrasive cleaning liquids or chemical agents (Alcohol, Gasoline
etc...) to clean the appliance.
