attenuator

A pressure vessel that maintains consistent output water pressure by compensating for pressure fluctuations caused
by the intensifier stroking

AWG

American Wire Gauge, a standardized wire gauge system used in North America

bar

A unit of pressure; 1 bar equals 100 kPa or 14.5 psi or 100,000 N∙m

computer numerical control (CNC) machine

A computer that controls the motion of a machine tool

cooling water

Low-pressure water that circulates through the heat exchanger to cool the hydraulic fluid

cSt

A centistoke is a measurement of kinematic viscosity; water has a viscosity of 1 centistoke or 1 mm

cut-pressure mode (high-pressure mode)

Water that is at cutting pressure
