10. PROBLEMS
In case of any problems with the device, please refer to the following tips.
The device does not
switch on.
Check that the battery is charged.
Check that the power supply and docking station are
charging the device battery correctly.
The unit does not move in
the room according to the
program after it has been
switched on.
If the floor is very dark or even mirror-like, the sensors
may not work properly.
Check that the sensors are not dirty.
Check that the wheels are not dirty and that no fibres or
hair are caught in them.
Check that no objects have fallen under the device to
prevent it from moving properly.
Check that the unit or part of the floor is not illuminated
by very bright sunlight.
The device does not clean
thoroughly - dust and
rubbish remain.
Check that the brushes are not dirty or stuck with any
substance.
Check that the brushes are not damaged.
Check the axes of brushes whether they are blocked or if
they are rotating freely.
Check that the rubbish container is not filled.
Check that the suction opening is not blocked.
Check that the filter is correctly mounted on the rubbish
container and if it is clean.
The device works louder
than usual.
Check that no hair or other fibres are twisted into the
wheels or brushes.
Make sure the rubbish container is not full.
Check that the dust filters are correctly fitted.
The device does not stop
in front of the edge of the
stairs.
Check that the sensors are not dirty.
Check that the step is more than 8 cm high.
Check that the staircase is not covered with black or
mirror surfaces that make it difficult for sensors to
operate.
The battery does not
charge despite being
connected to the power
supply unit.
Check that the power supply unit is correctly connected
to the mains and the plug to the docking station.
Check that the charger or the cable connecting it to the
docking station is not damaged.
Select another power outlet.
