8. USE
FIRST STEPS
Pay attention to the surface on which you place the inverted device. The point is not
to scratch robot’s top part. Place it on a soft surface.
Remove the device from the
packaging. The next step is to attach
the side brushes.
To do this, you need to follow these
steps:
1. Invert the device so that the bottom
of the device can be easily accessed.
2. Take the side brushes out of the
box.
3. Align the hole with the brush shaft
(it slightly protrudes from the slot),
and press it gently until it clicks into
place.
4. Do the same with the other brush.
SETTING UP THE DOCKING STATION
The purpose of the docking station is to recharge the device's battery without any user
intervention.
The docking station should be positioned on the flat clean floor against the wall in such
a way that the robot has free access to it. There should be no objects, walls or furniture
at a distance of 1.5 m from the front of the robot and 0.5 m from its sides that could
impair the robot's ability to return, dock and load automatically. The illustration shows
the correct setting of the docking station.
