Pull the filter housing over the element from below, taking care to ensure it has a
tight fit, and fasten it with the tension clamp (tightening torque 5 - 10 Nm).
Check the emptying screw on the floor of the filter housing for stable fitting.
Heater (Option)
Under normal operating condition the heater element is wear-free. Regular service
is therefore not required.
Storing the FAM
In the event of prolonged storage, the FAM should be stored in clean, dry spaces.
Storage temperature is 20°C ... 60°C
The maximum storage time is 6 months, after which the FAM must be put back into
operation for at least 24 hours. Afterwards the device can be placed in storage once
again.
Disposing of the FAM
The packaging material should be re-used/re-cycled as appropriate for your area.
When decommissioning and/or disposing of the FAM, adherence is to be maintained
to local guidelines and regulations pertaining to occupational safety and environ-
mental protection. This applies in particular to the oil contained in the unit, to com-
ponents coated in oil and to electronic components.
After disassembling the unit and separating the various materials, they can be re-
used or disposed of properly in accordance with local regulations.
