8.5.2 Filling the test liquid / Filling the extraction unit

The extraction unit must be filled during initial start-up and during

operation if the test liquid level is too low.

Before topping up, calculate the maximum refill quantity according

to the following formula:

Volume

= Volume calculation

Initial filling

= 20 liters

Topping up

= 19 liters – Volume B1 – Volume B2

To fill the extraction unit/to top up the test liquid, proceed as fol-

lows:

Have the container with the test liquid ready.

1. Detach the plug with the hydraulic silencer from the ball

valve.

2. Attach the filling hose to the ball valve and turn the ball valve

to the

Vent

position.

3. Start the

Fill system

menu item in the user interface.

The extraction unit is filled. Overfilling is not possible, the

software automatically stops filling after the maximum filling

quantity has been reached.

4. Turn the ball valve in

Operation

position.

5. Remove the filling hose from the ball valve.

6. Attach the plug with the breather filter to the ball valve.

The filling of the extraction unit is complete.
