8.16 Checking that the pen is earthed

So that there is no electrostatic charge due to the hose, there is an

electric conductor between the

extraction chamber

connector/

quick-action coupling and the pen. Check the resistance every 3

months.

- Multimeter

Carry out the measurement on all the mounted pens.

1. Using the multimeter, measure the resistance between the

pen and the quick coupling.

2. A resistance of R < 10 Ω is O.K.

If the resistance is higher, replace the hose.

The test is concluded.
