Performing Maintenance

 

Changing the Filter Element 

 

 WARNING 

Hydraulic system is under pressure 

Bodily injury 

 

►

  Depressurize the system before performing any 

work on it. 

 

To change the filter, proceed as follows: 

1. 

Switch off the unit and make sure it cannot be 
inadvertently switched back on.

 

 

2. 

Close the shut-off valve (1) on IN inlet. 

Depressurize the filter housing. 

Unscrew the air bleed screw (2) out 
completely in a counterclockwise direction 
using a 6 mm Allen wrench.

 

3. 

Drain the filter housing by opening the drain 
ball valve (2). 

Collect the escaping fluid (

 7 liters) in a 

suitable container (1) and dispose of it in 
accordance to local regulations.
