Installing the OLF
During installation, make sure that the direction of flow through the filter is correct. The
connections are marked with IN / OUT. Only install the filter when it is in an upright
position.
The OLF is designed for installation in a pipeline or hose line with a G1/2" threaded
connector (cylindrical pipe thread in accordance with DIN ISO 228; part 1).
Make sure that no stresses or vibrations are transmitted to the filter housing. Use
hoses or expansion joints if necessary.
Before installation, coat the connector threads with a lubricant containing
slip additives.
This prevents damage to the connector threads during installation.

Make sure there is sufficient room (A) to
change the filer element.
Perform installation work in the
immediate vicinity of the filter housing
shut-off valves (B). This facilitates
changing the filter element.
