Measures to be taken if operation is stopped
Reasons for stopped operation can be:
High oil level in the safety drip tray or in the collecting container
'stop pressure' reached
insufficient power supply
A triggered motor circuit breaker
For troubleshooting, proceed as follows:
1.
High oil level in the safety drip tray or the collecting container (see Page 25).
Empty the tray / the collecting container. The TCU starts as soon as the float
switches in the drip tray and in the collecting container are released again.
Check the system for leaks and rectify them if necessary.
If the lubricating and sealing oil from the vacuum pump is allowed to drain
into the safety drip tray (see Page 25), note the date of draining in the note
book. If the pan needs to be drained more than once a year, contact
HYDAC to discuss possible measures.
If the lubricating and sealing oil from the vacuum pump is allowed to drain
into the optional collecting container (see Page 25), note the date of draining
and the oil quantity in the notebook. If more than 6 liters of oil is used per
year, please contact HYDAC to discuss possible measures.
2.
After the system restarts, check the actual pressure at the higher oil level in
the degasification and dewatering unit (upper pressure). After 5 minutes of
operation, the pressure must be lower than the stop pressure SP1 set.
3.
If the value does not drop below the stopping pressure SP1, check the
degasification and dewatering unit for function as described in Page 49.
If the check valve functions normally, there is probably a leak within the
degasification and dewatering unit. If this is the case, please contact
HYDAC.
4.
If the electric motor does not start, check the following points:
Check the power supply. The signal lamp must light up when started.
Check the motor protection switch. If it has tripped, reactivate it and
restart the system.
Check the pump pressure / the pressure restriction valve as described on
Page 57. If the pump pressure is normal, there may be a temporary
interruption.
5.
Check the power supply to the electric motor.
If the electric motor does not start, or if it starts but the motor circuit breaker
triggers, the electric motor or the motor pump group must be replaced.
