6 Adjusting the machine
6.1
Removing the Tools from Spindle Bore
1.
Disconnect machine from power supply.
2.
Place a thin wood plank on the worktable to protect
the surface of the worktable.
3.
Raise the worktable to about 250mm under the bit.
4.
Lower the spindle about 150mm.
5.
Place the drift key (Q, Fig.10) into the aperture (R,
Fig. 10) of the quill and tap the end of the drift key
(Q, Fig. 10) with a hammer until the bit or chuck
arbor falls down.

Suggested for reference
When the diameter of the tool object is more than
20mm and material is harder, it is recommended
to choose low RPM and slow of spindle down-feed
to ensure work safety and extend workability of
the machine. If the diameter is below 20mm, the
user may freely select the required speed and rate
of feeds on their own. The following chart is
provided for reference.

Note
When the bit has difficulty drilling or the spindle
bounces automatically during the process of
drilling, stop operation right away and check if the
bit is sharp or the material is too hard. If the
material is too hard, it is suggested to choose
lower rpm and smaller rate of feeds to protect the
bit and the machine as well as the safety of the
user. When the machine is used for heavy cutting
for a long period of the time, it is recommended to
check the loading capacity of automatic quill feeding on a
regular basis.
If such capacity decreases, remove the name
plate (O1) at the left rear of the head and adjust in
accordance with the specified direction.
It should be fine
when the user feels it tight enough. Never over-tighten it to
prevent the spring from fatigue and hazards during
operation. The worm gear needs to be maintained by adding
grease.
Adding the grease to the worm gear is required for
regular maintenance. To inject the grease, use an injection
nozzle at the left rear of the head, please see (P1) label as
shown on the machine.
