Touch the thread tension icon (A) to open a thread tension
adjustment window where the tension for each of the five
threads is displayed. Touch the value number (B) for a thread
to select it. The value number becomes surrounded by a
colored background, indicating that it is selected. Touch - or
+ to adjust the thread tension for the selected thread. The
value number becomes highlighted, showing that the
standard setting has been changed (C).

Touch the thread tension icon to close the adjustment
window.

Note: See page 55 for an overview of tension adjustments for each stitch
type.

Differential Feed

To adjust the differential feed, touch + or —. The value
number becomes highlighted, indicating that the standard
setting has been changed.

Note: See page 54 for more instructions on adjusting the differential feed.

Stitch Length

To adjust the stitch length, touch + or —. The value number
becomes highlighted, indicating that the standard setting has
been changed.

Note: See page 53 for more instructions on adjusting the stitch length.

Sewing Speed
