Function test Remote
Control
Checking Potentiometers
1� Connect the RC Unit to the
PP480 with the CAN-bus cable�
2� At the main screen, push OK to
get into the Menu�
3� Use the up or down arrows to go
to Service menu� Push OK �
4� On the display of the PP, the serial
number is shown ( e.g. 49910 )� To
get the access code for the Service
menu, take the serial number
multiplied by itself� The last 5
digits of the result is your code�
49910 x 49910 = 2491008100, the
access code in this case is 08100�
Use the up or down arrows to set
this number and then
OK
to go
to the next position. Confirm by
pushing OK �
5� Once in the Service menu, use
the up or down arrows to navigate
to
Product Status � Push OK �
6� Use the up or down arrows to get
to the Potentiometers menu� Push
OK �
7� In this menu, the values (in
percent) can be checked for each
potentiometer� For feed motor
potentiometers, the reading
should be 50% at the click
position (straight up)� All three
potentiometers should show 0%
at their left-most positions (max
counter clockwise) and 100% at
their right-most position (max
clockwise)�
