To connect the product to the electrical
system of a building
WARNING:
The product must be
grounded by a person with good experience
and knowledge in the field of electricity. In
some areas an approved electrician must do
the installation. Obey local regulations.
• Use a manual transfer switch to connect the product
to an electrical system.
• Make sure that you do the procedure in compliance
with all national and local regulations.
Operation

WARNING:
Read and understand the
safety chapter before you use the product.
To fill fuel
Use unleaded gasoline. Do not use gasoline with more
than 10% ethanol and do not use E85 gasoline.
CAUTION:
Do not mix gasoline with oil.
1. Stop the engine and let the product become cool.

2. Make sure that the product is on level ground and in
an area with good airflow.
3. Remove the fuel tank cap.
4. Carefully fill the fuel tank (A). Fill fuel (B) to the mark
(C).

5. Clean the product from fuel spillage.
CAUTION:
Fuel spillage is a fire risk
and can cause damage to the
environment.
To start the product
1. Disconnect all electrical loads from the receptacles
on the control panel.
2. Make sure that the product is on a level surface.
3. Open the fuel valve.
4. Set the power switch (A) to the ON position.

5. Set the choke to the OFF position.
6. Pull the starter rope handle slowly until you feel
resistance.
7. Pull the starter rope handle quickly and with force
until the engine starts.
8. For electric start, do the steps that follow.
a) Push and hold the ON/OFF/START key in the
start position.
b) When the engine starts, move the ON/OFF/
START key to the ON position.
9. Move the choke to ½ choke position.
10. When the engine runs smoothly, set the choke to the
ON position.
