Energy Save
Turns the energy save
mode on or off.
Enable this setting to
prevent the steering
system from running
when it is not
required. This feature
is useful on sailboats
only when a Solenoid
Power Pack is
installed.

Rudder Alarm
Sets whether the
rudder alarm will
sound due to an error
in the rudder
movement.
Enabled:

Standby:
This setting is not
recommended for all vessels.
If there is a rudder movement
error, the autopilot will
disengage and enter Standby
mode automatically.
Be
prepared to manually control
the vessel.

Magnetic Compass
Type
Sets the compass
model connected to
the autopilot CPU.

Compass Alignment
Adjusts the electronic
compass reading so
that the compass
doesn’t have to be
moved to receive
accurate readings.

NOTE: Adjust this setting after
the Compass Compensation
procedure has been
performed.
Compass Damping
Adjusts the filter
setting to prevent
sensitivity to
intermittent signals.
Controls oscillation
of the compass
reading.
