5 Loading - Unloading - Disposal
5.1 Loading (Instrument at Hold)
5.1.1 Refill System Liquid
1. Open screw cap of system liquid container and refill system liquid or replace
container.
2. Close screw cap again and watch for correct seat of level sensor and connec-
tions.
5.1.2 Refill Wash Liquid
1. Hold bottom drawer with both hands at the bottom edge and pull it out. The
LED INSTR must light up green.
2. Open cap of wash container and refill the respective liquid or replace bottle.
3. Close cap again and watch for correct seat of level sensor and connections.
4. Close bottom drawer again, so it clicks into place (audible click).
5.1.3 Position Dilution Plates
1. Pull very left drawer out. The LED DWR must light up green.
2. Place dilution plate(s) in the respective positions as shown in the Load dia-
logue box. The position 1 is on the rear.
3. Push in drawer again up to the limit stop (audible click), overcoming a slight
resistance.
5.1.4 Load Tip Racks
1. Pull very left drawer out. The LED DWR must light up green.
2. Place tip rack - as illustrated in the drawing below - into the holding device of
the instrument, so that the pin sits in the groove of the tip rack.
3. Push in drawer up to the limit stop (audible click), overcoming a slight resist-
ance.
Please carefully check the tip racks allocation following the specific colour
code and type in the software. A tip misplaced can not be recognized by the
instrument and may cause mechanical damage!
