REMOVING THE WHEEL AND AXLE
1. Tip the chair gently forward, resting the headrest on the floor.
2. Insert a flat-head screwdriver between the wheel and the receptacle wall (Fig.1).
3. Use the screwdriver as leverage to pry the wheel loose, freeing the wheel and axle from the chair (Fig.2).
Tools Required:
flat-head screwdriver to replace wheel/axle, Phillips-head screwdriver to replace wheel receptacle.

IF YOU ARE REPLACING THE WHEEL RECEPTACLE:
1. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the rear receptacle screw/washer and the two screws on the bottom of the receptacle (Fig.2).
NOTE: Be sure not to lose the rear screw washer.
2. Place the new wheel receptacle into position, then replace the three screws, ensuring that the rear screw/washer is placed in the rear screw hole.
