5. Instrument Maintenance
 The instrument should avoid from being stored in too moist environment.
 The instrument is a high-precision instrument, handle with care.
 Clip-on ammeter is a precision instrument, and should be particularly careful in use;
prohibit throwing, knocking or hitting, so as not to affect the performance of the clip-on
ammeter.
 When taking down the clip-on ammeter, do not pull out the cord, so as not to pull off the
clip-on ammeter connection.
 Do not use corrosive organic solvent for cleaning instrument surfaces and panels.

The clamp jaws should be kept clean, and oil and dust will affect the measurement
accuracy; before each test, it is best to use waterless alcohol to wipe it once.
 Wipe the jaws, and after use, it should be properly preserved, and can not be placed
together with other debris, so as not to dirty the clip-on ammeter.
 At the time of measurement, it should be kept away from high current lines (especially the
jaws are not near high current lines).
