Notes on the connection example
Connecting a projector or similar to the RGB OUT
connector of the Dual Stream Box enables the following
features:
- Displaying the received computer picture with optimum
picture quality
- Transmitting the picture of a locally connected computer
to the remote party

To transmit a picture from a computer
First, press the (PC) button, and make sure that the
computer images input are displayed and that the Dual
Stream Box supports the RGB IN signals.
Be aware that although WXGA can be displayed on the
screen, it cannot be sent.
For details on acceptable RGB IN signals on the Dual
Stream Box, see “ViewPoint 8050-DSB Dual Stream Box
(RGB IN) (Connector located on ViewPoint 8050)” on
page 111.
Next, press the (Menu) or (Videoconference)
button to display the communication control bar, and click
the
(Send) button.
The computer picture is displayed on a projector connected
to the RGB OUT connector and on the Videoconferencing
Terminal, and it is also transmitted to the remote party.
To stop the transmission, click the same (Stop) button.
The computer picture displayed on a projector and on the
Videoconferencing Terminal is the image as input to the
Dual Stream Box. However, the image transmitted to the
remote party may be lacking in detail and may have
dropped frames.
