3.3.4 Cleaning an Air Filter Frame
During the running of a device, dust in the air accumulates around the dust filter frame. The
accumulated dust greatly affects the ventilation performance of the dust filter frame and
deteriorates the heat dissipation efficiency. To ensure the stable running of devices,
maintenance personnel must regularly (once a year is recommended) clean all the dust filter
frames.
Operation Procedure
Step 1
Take out the dust filter frame.
1.
Open the front door of the cabinet. Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two screws
that fix the dust filter frame.
2.
Hold the panel of the dust filter frame with your hands. Lift the dust filter frame slightly
so that the distance between the panel of the air filter frame and the ground is higher than
the distance between bolts that are used to fix the ground cables at the bottom of the
cabinet.
3.
Pull the dust filter frame out carefully.
Step 2
Use water to clean the dust filter frame.
Clean the dust filter frame with clean water and wipe it with dry cloth. Then place the dust
filter frame in a place with good ventilation for airing.
Step 3
Install the air filter frame at the bottom of the cabinet.
1.
Push the clean and dry dust filter frame into the cabinet along the slide at the bottom of
the cabinet in downhill mode. Do not forcibly push the dust filter frame into the cabinet.
2.
When the air filter frame is back to its place, use a Phillips screwdriver to screw the two
bolts to fix the air filter frame.
