7.3.14 Replacing the 24 V DC Input and Output Switches

Prerequisites



The 24 V DC input or output switch is faulty.



A spare 24 V DC input or output switch of the same model is available and functional.

Context

The 24 V DC input and output switches are replaced in the same manner. This section
describes how to replace a 24 V DC input switch.

Procedure

Step 1

Disconnect cables from the faulty 24 V DC input switch, and label the cables.

Step 2

Remove the faulty 24 V DC input switch.

Step 3

Install the new 24 V DC input switch.

Step 4

Connect the cables to the new 24 V DC input switch based on the cable labels.
