Mobile connection intermittently cuts out
1.
Contact your carrier to confirm your SIM card functions. If the SIM card does not
support 2G or 3G calling, your phone may periodically search for the 2G/3G network,
leading to disconnection of the 4G mobile network. It is recommended that you use a
regular SIM card that supports calling functions.
2.
If the SIM card supports 2G and 3G calling, check to see if another phone using a SIM
card provided by the same carrier is experiencing the same issue. If not, the Internet
connection may be unstable. Try using the phone in an area with a more stable network
signal.
3.
If the issue persists, reset the APN. Swipe down from the status bar to open the
notification panel, touch and hold Mobile data to enter the Mobile data settings screen,
touch Access Point Names, then touch the three-dot menu in the upper right corner, and
select Reset to default.
4.
If the issue still persists, open Settings and search for Reset network settings. Then reset
the network settings of your phone. (Note: This will delete all your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
connection records.)
If the issue persists, back up your data and take your phone and proof of purchase to an
authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
Connect to Wi-Fi
By connecting your device to a Wi-Fi network, you can effectively save mobile data.
To avoid potential security risks (such as unauthorized access to your personal data and financial
information), please exercise caution when connecting to a public Wi-Fi network.
