Quidway® S8500 POS Interface Board
Overview
Quidway® S8500 series products are new generation high-end Ethernet switches
developed by Huawei. They support various POS ports and directly interconnect SDH and
WAN routes without depending on the WAN interface provided by other device. They
make the networking more flexibly and save the investment of user. Moreover, the board
has different port densities, including 4-port 155M POS, 4-port 2.5G POS and 1-port 10G
POS. Diversified S8500 board types, flexible configuration and good performance meet
various networking requirements of users.

Main Characteristics
Flexible Configurations and Expandability
The POS interface board can work in any service slot of S8500. Up to three, five, eight
and twelve POS interface boards can be configured on S8502/S8505/S8508/S8512
