3.2.3 Monitoring System

Event and
operation

RH2288 V2
server. Choose System
Event Log in the
navigation tree.
Normal system
events are
displayed. See the documents delivered with
the RH2288 V2 server.
ECC500
collector Check the
indicators of the
ECC500 main
control module. The running
indicator is
steady on.  If the running indicator is
blinking quickly, check the
power supply or the
communications cable between
the ECC500 and the host.
 If the alarm indicator is on, view
and handle the alarms.
VCN500 Check the
VCN500 indicator. The VCN500
indicator is
steady green. See the documents delivered with
the VCN500.
Access
control
system Swipe a card to
open the door. When an
access card is
swiped, the
card reader
indicator
becomes red
for 3s (you
will bear a
beep) and then
returns to
steady blue. Swipe another access card and
observe the door status:
 If the door can be opened by
another access card, the original
access card is damaged. Prepare
a new access card and assign
permission to the card.

If the door cannot be opened,
replace by following instructions
in
5.3.13.1 Replacing a Card
Reader .
Press the exit
button and open
the door. The door can
be opened.
1. Check whether the cable to the
exit button is properly
connected.
2. If the fault persists, replace by
following instructions in
5.3.13.2
Replacing an Exit Button .
Hydrogen
detection
system Check the
hydrogen density
that is displayed. The normal
value is 0% or
1%. If the density is abnormal, contact
Huawei technical support.
