To power off the handset, press and hold
until "Goodbye!" is displayed.
NOTE

Release when
Goodbye
is displayed. Otherwise, the handset may be restarted.

If the battery level is very low, nothing will be displayed on the display. It is recommended that you
fully charge the handset before use.
l
If the handset is to be unused for a prolonged period, remove the battery from the handset. This will
protect against excessive discharge of the battery.
Locking the Handset Keypad
l
To lock the keypad, press and hold
in standby mode until the
icon is displayed
on the LCD.
l
To unlock the keypad, press and hold
again until the
icon disappears from the
LCD.
When the keypad is locked, all buttons except the
Answer
button are locked. An incoming call
can be answered by selecting
Answer
. When the call ends, the keypad remains locked.
7.2 Setting the Cordless Handset
7.2.1 Setting the Ringtone and the Ringtone Volume
1.
In standby mode, press
MENU
to display the main menu.

Use the navigation buttons to highlight
Sound
, and then select
Select
or press
OK
.
3.
Use the up or down navigation button to highlight
VOIP ringtone
,
PSTN ringtone
, or
INT ringtone
as required, and then select
Select
.
4.
Use the left or right navigation button to select a ringtone as required. Select
Select
to save
the setting for the ringtone and proceed to set the volume.
5.
Use the left or right navigation button to set the ringtone volume as required. Select
Select
to save the settings and return to the upper-level menu.
NOTE
If you turn the ringer off, when a call comes in, the handset does not ring. Instead, an incoming call message
is displayed on the LCD.
7.2.2 Setting the Key Tone

In standby mode, press
