7 Disassembly Procedure

Issue 1.0 (2013-01-12)

Huawei Proprietary and Confidential

5. Remove the decoration from the battery cover using a
blade.

Ensure that the blade is inserted on the right of the
speaker hole to avoid damaging the speaker anti-dust
mesh.

6. Lift the decoration and remove it by turning it.
Do not scratch the main antenna.

7. Remove the adhesive residuals. The removed
decoration will be scrapped. Therefore, lift the decoration
as high as possible to avoid damaging the main antenna
when you attempt to remove the decoration.

8. Close-up picture of the phone after the
decoration is removed.

9. Wear a pair of anti-skid ESD gloves.

10. Clamp the phone with your palms and push
along the battery cover to use friction to snap out
the battery cover.
