Product Overview
Huawei AC6005 is an access controller (AC) of a large capacity and high performance. It is highly reliable,
easy to install and maintain, and features such advantages as flexible networking and energy conservation.
WLAN AC6005 is located between an access device and aggregation device or between an access device
and a core switch. It is usually deployed in residential areas, corridors, or central equipment rooms in
buildings and installed in an indoor rack, cabinet, or on a desk. The AC6005 connects to APs through
network interfaces to provide access services for users.
The AC6005 has two models: AC6005-8-PWR and AC6005-8. The AC6005 provides six GE electrical
interfaces, two GE combo interfaces, an RS232 serial interface, and a USB interface. The six GE electrical
interfaces and two GE combo electrical interfaces can work at a rate of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s. The two GE
combo optical interfaces support 100/1000 Mbit/s auto-sensing optical modules. GE electrical interface 1
can be used as a 100 Mbit/s management network interface. Compared to the AC6005-8, the AC6005-8-
PWR can function as a power sourcing equipment (PSE) to supply power.
