Context

Pictures output or input from the Digital Visual Interface (DVI), SXGA interface, or YPrPb
interface (of the DVI-1 type), such as the computer desktop with the resolution of VGA when
displayed on the monitor screen, may deviate from their normal positions. In this case, set the
picture offset to adjust the picture position.

Procedure

7.1.3 Adjusting the Sampling Phase

When color distortion occurs in a picture on the monitor, adjust the sampling phase.

Context

Color distortion may occur on the input video, such as the computer desktop with the resolution
of VGA, when displayed on the monitor. That is, the color seen from the computer display is
different from the color seen from the monitor connected by the terminal. In this case, adjust the
color by setting the sampling phase.

7.1.4 Adjusting Video Parameters

After a Huawei HD camera is connected to the terminal, set the camera parameters, such as the
exposure mode, white balance mode, aperture size, and noise reduction, to view quality video
captured by the camera on monitors.

Prerequisites

Set the camera type of the video input source to a Huawei HD camera.

Context

If the VPC520 is connected to a video input interface, all the parameters listed in 

Table 7-2

 are

available to be set. If the VPC500 is connected to a video input interface, only certain parameters
listed in 

Table 7-2

 are available to be set. Refer to the relevant page for the specific parameters.
