Icon Description
An offline virtual conference room.
A virtual conference room available to be called.
Procedure
Step 1 From the home screen, select Address Book .
Step 2 From the Address Book screen, select Virtual Conference Room .
Step 3 Do either of the following to initiate a conference:
l
Scroll to an available virtual conference room in the virtual conference room list, and press
or .
l Select Search , enter the full virtual conference room number (or enter part of the virtual
conference room number, and scroll to the desired entry in the list displayed). Then press
or .

5.8.2 Configuring the Network Address Book
The network address book stores the addresses of the sites in the videoconferencing system. The
administrator can download the address book and update the entries in batches.
Network address books can be classified into the following two types:
l Network address books stored on an FTPS server
l Network address books stored on an LDAP server
Configuring a Network Address Book Stored on an FTPS Server
The parameters used for communications between the terminal and the FTPS server must be set
correctly so that the terminal can use the network address book.
Procedure
Step 1
From the home screen, select Settings , enter the administrator password (if set), and then select
OK to display the Settings screen.
Step 2 Choose Settings > Network > Network Address Book , and then set the parameters listed in
Table 5-10 .
