18 Basics

Before turning on your phone

Bottom cover

Removing the bottom cover

Remove the bottom cover to access the battery compartment, SIM card slot, and storage
card slot.

Hold your phone securely with the front facing down.

With your right and left thumbs, push the bottom cover out to remove it.

Replacing the bottom cover

Align the two openings underneath the bottom cover with the two notches on the bottom
of the phone.

Place the bottom cover on the phone and then push the bottom cover (from the center)
until it clicks into place to secure it.

The two prongs underneath the bottom cover act as the antenna for your phone. It is recommended
that you secure the bottom cover to the phone to ensure that you get the best radio reception for
your phone.
