Storage and files

Types of storage

Want to know where your apps, data, and files are?

Phone
storage

Phone storage combines both the app storage, where apps, email, data, and text
messages are stored, and the file storage, where photos, videos, and music files are
kept.

Storage card

Use a storage card for storing more files. You can also set apps such as Camera to
store directly to the card.

Copying files to or from HTC Desire 326G dual sim

You can copy your music, photos, and other files to HTC Desire 326G dual sim.

Connect HTC Desire 326G dual sim to the computer using the supplied USB cable.

Slide the Notification panel, and then tap the notification that lets you choose USB options.

Choose a connection type. You can:

USB storage

to access the storage card only.

Choose

Media device (MTP)

to access both the phone storage and storage card. You'll

see options for viewing or importing files on the computer screen. Choose to view files.

Copy the files from your computer to HTC Desire 326G dual sim, or vice versa.

After copying the files, disconnect HTC Desire 326G dual sim from the computer.

File Explorer

Use the File Explorer app to browse and organize files and folders on your phone storage and
storage card.

Open the File Explorer app.

Tap the type of file you want to view, or tap

Quick View

and then tap

Internal Storage

view your files as a list.

In list view, press and hold a file or folder to rename or delete it.

To select multiple items, tap >

Select more

. Then tap each item you want to select, or tap

Select All
