Get a thorough clean with this easy
to use floor scrubber and dryer.

To operate the scrubber only, depress the operator
presence button and squeeze the handle bar
control levers. To STOP the unit let go of the
handle bar control levers.
To activate the flow of water to the scrubber
brushes,
press the Water Flow ON/OFF switch on the
handlebars.
To regulate the flow of water to the
brushes, adjust the water control flow valve at the
base of the unit.
To increase the rate of flow, turn the
lever anti-clockwise.
DO NOT adjust the flow with
the unit running.
To activate the suction dryer press the suction
ON/OFF switch,
this will draw up the water that has
been used to clean the floor and deposit in the
wastewater tank.
To clean, push the unit slowly across the floor,
make sure that the power cable does not snag on any
thing as you go and does not become a trip hazard for
yourself.
When you have reached the end of a cleaning run,
press the raise brush pedal and line up for a new run.
To
lower brushes pull back on handlebars slightly,
this will disengage the pedal.
The height of the brushes can also be adjusted by
turning the brush height adjusters at the front of
the unit,
be careful not to make the brush height too
low as this will cause the brushes to wear prematurely.
When the fresh water tank runs out, stop the
machine, unplug the power supply cable and
empty the wastewater tank as described in the
FINISHING OFF section and refill as described in
GETTING STARTED.
Plug the unit back in and continue
cleaning.
Never use the equipment except for its intended
purpose.
If it will not do what you want with reasonable
ease, assume you have the wrong tool for the job.
Contact your local HSS Hire Shop for advice.
Keep the equipment clean.
You will find this less of a
chore if you clean it regularly, rather than wait until the
end of the hire period.
When not in use, store the equipment somewhere
clean, dry and safe
from thieves.
When you have finished your cleaning session
switch the water and suction switches to OFF and
unplug the unit from the power supply.
Remove the
wastewater bucket as described in the GETTING STARTED
section and empty the contents in a suitable drain.
Drain any excess contents of the fresh water tank
by moving the unit to a suitable drain and unclip
the fresh water tank drain tube.
Point the tube at a
suitable drain and pull the rubber stop back, make sure

that the tube is level with the floor and the fresh water
will flow out of the tank.
When done replace the
rubber stop and reattach the tube to the unit.
Lower the handlebars,
by reversing the procedure
described in GETTING STARTED.
Neatly coil the power
cable and give the unit a final clean, ready for
return
to your local HSS Hire Shop.
