Huddle Hub User Guide
3 Attending a session with a Web Browser
The Huddle Hub solution offers you the possibility to start or attend a presentation session using just
your Web Browser (Chrome, Firefox or Edge), without installing or launching any software.
3.1 Starting or Joining a Session
First of all you need to connect to the HHO unit through its IP address. It is usually displayed in the
welcome screen of the main display of the room, if present. See
Finding the IP address of a HHO unit
for other options.
Type the IP address in the address bar of your browser, and press Enter. If you are connecting to this
HHO unit for the first time, your browser will show a security warning. This happens because the SSL
certificate provided by the HHO web server is self-signed, and this is a normal situation with secure
servers located on embedded systems. You have to confirm you want to proceed:
You are now required to type your name (it will be saved for future connections) and, if other participants
connected before you, the room passcode (it appears in the welcome screen if nobody is presenting, or
in the browser/client window of the presenter and of the connected participants). Finally, click the
Join
button to enter the presentation session:
