Removing and replacing the SID

Procedure

Power off the server (

Powering off the server

Extend the server from the rack (

Extending the server from the rack

Remove the access panel (

Removing the access panel

Remove necessary fans 1 and 2.

Remove the screw securing the SID inside the chassis.

Disconnect the cable clip.

Pull the Systems Insight Display module halfway out of the server.

Disconnect the Systems Insight Display cable.

Remove the Systems Insight Display module.
