Front components 

To identify the components on the front of the monitor, use this illustration and table. 

 

 
 

Table 1-1: Front components and their descriptions 

Component 

Function 

Menu/ Select

  

Opens the OSD menu or selects items on the OSD 
menu.

 

Brightness / Minus 

Brightness: If the OSD menu is inactive, press to 
activate the Brightness to adjust brightness.

 

Minus: If the OSD menu is open, press to navigate 
backward through the OSD menu and decrease 
adjustment levels.

 

Auto-Adjustment / Plus 

Auto Adjustment: If the OSD menu is inactive, press 
to do an auto adjustment from a VGA 
Plus: If the OSD menu is open, press to navigate 
forward through the OSD menu and increase 
adjustment levels.

 

Next Input / Exit 

Next Input: If the OSD menu is inactive, press to 
switch the video switch to next Input source. 
Exit: If the OSD menu is open, press to save any 
changes made, and exit the OSD menu.

 

Power 

Turns the monitor on or off.
